We Never Lacked Any Good Thing

My husband had been out of work since December 2004. He got a new job in March but 2 weeks before his start date, the company cancelled his job. This was a very disappointing experience. On our way to church on Mother’s Day, I prayed silently that God speak a word to my husband that day. We got to church and Pastor preached this message on Proverbs 13:12 – “hope deferred maketh the heart sick” which was a word for us. All this while I increased our offering check and thanked God for my husband’s job before we left home every Sunday. My husband went for a job fair within 2 weeks after that day, and he was offered a position that was not advertised and given a salary much higher than what he applied for. Throughout the 5 months period, we never lacked any good thing. We lived on my salary and we lived well, no bill went unpaid, neither were they paid late. To crown it all up, I got promoted at my job.

Four Job Offers

I recently was laid off from my job, but I continued to be faithful with my tithes and offering, even sowing bountifully into the building fund. As a result, I was blessed to receive four job offers and received a substantial increase in my new salary.

Found Another Job with About 3

In February, I lost my job. My husband and I were living off of only his income which wasn't much. We continued to be faithful in sowing, praying, and mostly, being thankful for what we do have. We confessed the word of God over our lives daily and focused on thanksgiving, instead of complaining. Now, six months later, I found another job with about 30% increase, and my husband found another job with about 50% increase! After losing my job, we learned something very significant, and that is... we are to place our faith only in God, not in the world's system. And further more, God will never close one door with out opening a bigger and better one!

They Made Me Permanent

I was hired for a 3 month Temp position and was told I may or may not be hired permanently, but I tithe at Life Changers and in 3 months they made me permanent. I was later moved to another department and 4 months later my old division was sold to another company and everybody was let to go, even the manager who hired me and worked there for 30 years and co-workers who have been in the company for 15 years were let to go, BUT I’M STILL THERE. I think this is really a powerful testimony of tithing. When I honor God with my tithe, God honored me.

Got The Job on The Spot

I attended your church for the first time on Mother’s Day. I have been out of a job for 4 months and it has been very frustrating. I came up after the service and received prayer for a job. I went on an interview this week and they gave me the job on the spot. Thank you for agreeing with me in prayer! God is faithful to answer the prayer of faith!
